Background and Experience

Cherilyn Bacon Eagar was born and raised in Hollywood, California where she began studying opera with Metropolitan Opera singer Margaret Romaine at age 15.  She received her degree in Speech and Dramatic Arts from Brigham Young University where she was a founding Member of the internationally acclaimed Young Ambassadors.  She received a certification from Northwood Institute’s IASTA Business of Musical Theatre program in Dallas.

She was the creator, producer and managing director for New York City’s Singers on Stage “On Broadway” Musical Theatre Workshops at Circle in the Square Theatre and Lambs Theatre, which Back Stage rated as the best in New York City, along with NYU’s Cap 21 program.

Cherilyn  has performed leading and supporting roles under Actors Equity Full Production, STOCK, Showcase and Small Professional Theatre LOA contracts in Off-Broadway, national tour, New York and regional theatre venues.
