What Is the United States’ Form of Government?

Print Friendly

Here is the essence of the purpose of this blog site – to define conservative.

What is the Left and what is the Right?  What form of government did the Framers design in the U.S. Constitution and in their deliberations prior to September 17, 1787?  Is the United States a democracy? Is it a republic?

Most Americans cannot answer these basic questions, in part because the schools they’ve attended did not teach them history.  Rather, social studies has been the focus, and history has been watered down with committee-written textbooks that have either distorted or eliminated the plain truths needed for society to preserve liberty or they have made it so boring students cannot make the connection between past and present.

“Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.” George Santyana – Reason in Common Sense, The Life of Reason, Vol.1

These short videos explain what the Founders’ and Framers’ intent was when they broke away from the British monarchy and formed a new government that would “long endure.”

What Form of Government?

Produced by the John Birch Society, an organization that the Left has tried to discredit in the media and academia. However, after viewing this video, it is difficult to find anything here that academic could discredit.  Why is this not taught in U.S. schools?
