Why every American should support Donald Trump

I delivered this speech at a Trump rally on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at the Utah State Capitol.  Please share.

I am a mother and a grandmother, the first Republican woman to run for US Senate in Utah, a conservative talk show host, one of Utah’s Republican State Electors … and I am a Mormon.  I am here today to proudly support Donald J. Trump for President of the United States because he is the moral choice.

We’re not voting for the Pope. We’re voting for the President. As Phyllis Schlafly, the First Lady of the conservative movement and my long time friend and mentor, once said, “Like it or not, we have a two party system and Jesus is NOT on the ballot.”

And Evan McMullin, you are not Utah’s “savior.” In fact, you are stealing votes from the moral choice and giving them to the crooked choice, and you’ve admitted it. How principled is THAT?

Phyllis passed away at age 92 just one day before the launch of her final book, The Conservative Case for Trump. She endorsed him when it was not easy. She knew it‘s not about personality; it’s about the principles.

She said, “I asked him to stand by the Republican platform, because we have the best conservative platform we’ve ever had. He endorses it, he will stand by it, and he is a real conservative.”

To my colleagues in the mainstream media and their pollsters: This is not about you and your feeble attempts to manipulate the people with your spin and collusion. You have been exposed, and it’s because of Donald Trump’s tenacity and leadership that you have been brought down. He is the wrecking ball we’ve needed.

And Gloria Allred, we know who YOU are. No one condones assault. This election is not about you and your drama, and your opportunistic and phony charges against Republican men – charges that have been debunked every election cycle.  This is about our children’s future. It’s about the Supreme Court and who will appoint the next four justices – and many more judges and thousands of Washington D.C. bureaucrats.

Let’s look at what’s at stake for our children: We can maintain our “high moral ground” to vote for NeverTrump, while more babies are aborted, our second amendment rights vanish, and the Supreme Court is forever changed. In fact, according to one of Trump’s advisors, former Ambassador Faith Whittlesey, your NeverTrump vote is treason to the Pro-Life movement.

Do we want another former ACLU president, anti-god, -family and -country Ruth Bader Ginsburg, appointed by Bill Clinton?

Or Trump’s commitment to an originalist, respecter of First and Second amendment rights, such as Antonin Scalia, appointed by Ronald Reagan?

Do we want Clinton’s partial birth abortion choices?

Or Trump’s pro-Life choices?

Do we want Clinton’s war on religious liberty?

Or Trump’s championing of the repeal of the Johnson Amendment, restoring the First Amendment to religious institutions and non-profits?

Do we want to continue the Clinton’s globalist sell-out of production and jobs, undermining our rule of law?

Or do we want Donald Trump to fix or eliminate NAFTA, withdraw from TPP, and bring those jobs back home and keep our Constitution the Supreme law of the land?

Do we want Clinton’s open borders, flooding this land with too many that hate America, bringing crime and drugs to harm our children?

Or do we want Trump to make America great again, welcoming immigrants that love this country?

Do we want Clinton, the originator of the unconstitutional single-payer system – called HillaryCare – back in the White House?

Or do we want Donald Trump’s plan to repeal and replace the disastrous ObamaCare?

Do we want to continue the Clinton Corporate Crony machine in Washington DC padding their foundation pockets?

Or do we want Donald Trump to drain that swamp?

Hillary, you tell us that you want to solve our problems with more bureaucracy and government solutions. But I have a message for you: You ARE the problem. Donald Trump IS the solution!

When Mr. Trump spoke at Phyllis Schlafly’s funeral he said, “I’m sure that she’s telling us to keep up the fight. Phyllis, we love you, we miss you, and we will never, ever let you down.”

And that, my friends is why Donald Trump IS the moral choice for America!

Together we will make America great again! God bless Donald Trump and God bless America!

Gloria Allred: You need therapy. You did to Romney what you are doing to Trump

In the cases of the women who claim Donald Trump harassed and sexually exploited them, fraud could be involved. It’s not their lies and exaggerations. It’s their instigator Gloria Allred. It’s about time for someone to blow the whistle on this radical feminist.

When I saw her at the press conference, I got sick to my stomach. If these women were suffering so much, why did they not file charges YEARS ago? Why did they wait until now?

The timing was suspicious and the opportunistic enticement too great. In fact, she had tried this harassment before –  with Mitt Romney.” As a staunch supporter of Barack Obama, she claimed she had dirt on Mitt and that there would be an October Surprise in 2012.  It turns out she wanted to expose Romney when he was an LDS bishop for “bullying” a Mormon woman into not aborting her baby.

allred-with-meg-whitmans-undocumented-workerNow, an ardent supporter of Hillary Clinton, this is Allred’s 2016 October Surprise. Not only was Gloria a supporter, she was a Democratic national delegate.  And it appears that Allred has a penchant for targeting Republicans.  She also dragged out victims into the political ring  to knock out Herman Cain.  Here she is consoling her client, Meg Whitman’s illegal alien domestic worker, who she fired (because it’s illegal) when she ran for Governor (Courtesy Getty Images).

I’m thinking this could be a great case of “tortious interference of business,” also called “Interference with Prospective Contract.”  Basically what that means is that one party intentionally acts to cause another party to violate business relationships with a third party. That’s us. The People who support Donald Trump.  The business of running for office is truly a business in every sense.

As a Clinton delegate, Gloria Allred has been, and is intentionally, timing these media courts in a conspiracy to maliciously alienate not just Trump, but Romney, Cain and Whitman, from his contracts with us, donors and supporters, or to deliberately cause his campaign to tank, after millions of Americans have invested in this business called a political campaign – listed in the IRS Code as a PAC.

It is certainly a violation of the Constitution that the media and Gloria can be allowed to hold a kangaroo court in the media and then declare him de facto guilty without a real court and due process.  This is profane and indecent behavior and someone must stop Allred.

The Allred Formula
The language all too familiar in Allred’s cases are these words we are hearing: “His hands were like an octipus – they were all over the place!” She knows the formula.

Meanwhile, Trump has insisted that the claims are false. On Friday, the campaign issued the following statements:

Regarding the Allegations of Summer Zervos, from her cousin John Barry:

press-release-trump-summer-zervos

Response from Donald J. Trump:

djt-statement-summer-zervos-2016-10-15-at-3-05-34-pm
The other claim from Rachel Crooks has been debunked.

Why You Should Not Give Allred the Time of Day in Your Living Room
Leave it to Gloria to be the drama queen of the radical feminist movement. Gloria Allred is a feminist from hell. She is a twisted, real live caricature of what Rush Limbaugh calls “a feminazi.”

She loves to exaggerate the claims. This is what discrimination attorneys do. They coach their clients into the drama. She knows that because of The Violence Against Women Act, that monstrosity that feminists worked so hard to put into federal code, the tables are tipped upside down for any man that has so much as touched a woman in a way that she might deem “unwanted” or “assault.” Grow up, women. Seriously.

She has attitude. In her world, all men are entitled and privileged. She is a moldy leftover of an early feminism and takes advantage of other women for her own gain by crumbling them into little bits of victimhood.  Then she walks away with all the money, dropping her bitterness along the path so she can find her way back to her office to repeat it all over again with another victim.

She is also what is called a “media whore.” She’s a narcissist who loves to grandstand holding news conferences at the drop of a hat and will do and say anything for attention.

I listened to her news conference. Trust me, it’s not worth your time. Allred is an opportunist holding a lurid kangaroo court in our living rooms, unannounced. She should be DISBARRED for plopping salacious details and vulgarities in front of our children, without warning.

She has a choice. She could conduct her business quietly, as most discrimination attorneys do. She is deliberately grandstanding and pimping this filth, at our children’s expense.

Tragically, she has chosen to vindictively live out her own victimized life experience by getting back at men, who she categorically despises. I have watched her bully men for years. She is an embarrassment, profiting from turning competent women into sniveling victims, a bizarre form of assault on women’s intelligence.  Her bullying is hardly the courageous and strong role model feminists are supposed to be, able to take responsibility and move on when life gets tough.

Projecting her Pathology from the Past

Gloria has a rocky past of her own. I’m not belittling that misfortune. I’m belittling her response, because she is a coward. She projects her pathology onto her victims reliving her own emotional and volatile life experience and her own inability to deal with it. From rape to abortion-gone-wrong to a struggle as a two-time single mom, surviving one husband she claimed was manic-depressive, she simply could not find a way to move on.

Legally, she knows a woman can make any claim she wants and does not need to bring the substantive evidence to the court as required in other criminal cases. There is no statute of limitations. So much for equality. Thank you, Senator Orrin Hatch for claiming to have created this law and for sponsoring it. (By the way, we told you this would be the result.)

My message to you, women: TURN OFF THE TV when you see Gloria. It’s disgusting and embarrassing to women today who have moved beyond the tactics of feminist victimization and who have learned to take responsibility for themselves because it’s a positive character trait, regardless of gender.

My message to you, men: Start standing up to this bullying. This is bullying, you know. The Violence Against Women Act is discrimination against marriage, men and children. It targets men and gives women an unfair advantage, the epitome of reverse discrimination in the courts.

My message to you, Gloria: Save your litigation for the men who stab and murder women and the women who stab and murder men.  (It does work both ways, you know.)  You need therapy. We’re in the middle of an election. This campaign is not about you. We are weary of watching your melodramas on our TV screens.

This is about a platform and a party and policies that you despise. Among the values you loathe include the wholesomeness of the natural family, the sanctity of human Life before birth and in old age, and the miracle of strong religious values, grounded in forgiveness, about which you know absolutely nothing.

Your internal rage is out of control. Your brand of feminism has destroyed many families, marriages and children. You are a female version of Marley, forging your chains in hell link by link.  My final message, Gloria, is the message you feminists love the most: Go home and take care of your grandchildren.

American Leadership Fund Board Member Al Jackson Elected to Utah State Senate

American Leadership Fund

BREAKING NEWS!!!

Senator Al Jackson, American Leadership Fund’s board member WINS election!

A HUGE congratulations to ALF’s board member, Al Jackson for running for State Senate and WINNING!  by ONE vote.  Every vote truly counts.

Al was our endorsed candidate, of course.  I have known Al and Juleen for over 11 years now.  They hosted a marvelous event at their beautiful Maryland home years ago, and we have stayed in contact since they relocated to Utah.

Al is a founding ALF board member and has been instrumental in helping us get ALF off the ground.  Juleen is a strong and courageous leader and president of United Women’s Forum in Utah County.  They both have a clear understanding of the proper role of government, and Al is our voice in Washington DC when we need him.

We also know Ken Sumsion who is a great man that we have sorely missed in the legislature. We need him there again – he was one of the founders of the Patrick Henry Caucus and worked very hard.  Those were the days of real commitment and principled leaders.  We are counting on Al to bring people together in the Senate to have that courage.

We could not have a better senator!

Here are a couple of photos.

With Al’s beautiful wife Juleen and one of their adorable daughters.

Here’s Al with another founding ALF board member/Highland City Councilman Tim Irwin, a great friend and consultant and supporter who also helped launch ALF and is a great resource.

Social Conservative Candidates Save the GOP in 2014

American Leadership Fund

It’s true. Marriage and Life candidates were the 2014 GOP campaign winners. Karl Rove is not celebrating because he and the libertarians working within the GOP have spent millions to disassociate the GOP from the social issues for years and they failed miserably in this election cycle.

In 2012, Senate candidate Todd Akin unsuccessfully attempted to insert the very complex issue of rape trauma and its negative effects on pregnancy rates (which does have medical merit) in a media sound bite.  If Rove had been supporting Akin to begin with, he would have kept the faux pas as quiet as possible. Akin was desperately needed in the U.S. Senate. Claire McCaskill is not on our “side of history.”

Instead, Rove harangued Akin for weeks during the critical days of the 2012 election cycle. Why? Because he had his own moderate, establishment horse in the primary race who had lost. If he could get Akin out, his guy would be IN.  That’s politics.

From that point forward, Rove ranted and raved over Akin’s poor choice of words and declared that, “No Republican can ever get elected again if they are pro-Marriage or pro-Life.”

Really? Fast forward to November 4, 2014. It was a landslide for social conservatives. They were assisted by the four circuit courts and their rogue judicial activist judges that ruled against the will of the people in several states who had overwhelmingly voted for Marriage. This outraged the party’s base and they came out in throngs to vote. Continue reading Social Conservative Candidates Save the GOP in 2014

Labor Day Should Be Renamed Memorial Day II

White background - long

Note:  My email linked to this post unintentionally calculated numbers that did not reflect specifically lost manufacturing jobs.  The stats are accurate in this post.  My thanks to those vigilant readers that caught the error.

First let’s praise all that is good about America: A strong tradition in free enterprise. Innovations in technology that brought the world Internet communications and software programs unmatched. The best medical research on earth. Excellence in strong defense and national security. The everyday, hardworking mother and father, in the workplace or at home. And an indomitable spirit that pulls itself up by the bootstraps despite every effort by elected officials to kill the American Dream becoming more and more elusive. Now, Labor Day. Let’s be honest. Labor Day should be a sort of Memorial Day Part II. Continue reading Labor Day Should Be Renamed Memorial Day II

Marriage ‘Not State Issue’: Republican or Libertarian?

On July 28, 2014 a Florida TV station re-posted a CNN report by Margaret Hoover declaring that the Florida GOP ‘gets it’ on gay marriage. She wrote:

The Republican Party’s support for same-sex marriage is starting to grow. In the past 16 months, the number of GOP legislators supporting equal access to civil marriage quadrupled — from just two to eight. And recently, Republican Rep. David Jolly of Florida, a swing-district legislator with a deep personal and religious belief in traditional marriage, made a case we will hear more — a good society should confer the rights and responsibilities of civil marriage on same-sex couples while respecting the religious freedom of houses of worship to perform the sacrament of marriage only in the ways they see fit.

A Rebuttal to Gov. Olene Walker on Utah’s Caucus

Another one bites the dust, as they say. Now former Governor Olene Walker has just abandoned We the People in favor of big money, the rich and famous. Her editorial in the St. George Spectrum is filled with propaganda obviously fed to her by the DC lobbyists who have run these kinds of deceptive campaigns from their K Street addresses state by state to change elections to their favor. The editorial was a brilliant twist of truth obviously coached by shrewd attorneys who know how to twist arms in DC as well. Continue reading A Rebuttal to Gov. Olene Walker on Utah’s Caucus

Advice to Utah GOP: Be Careful What You Wish For

Now the two parties in Utah are having another spitting match. Again, the media is reporting the controversy as a dispute over Democratic Salt Lake County Attorney Sim Gill’s comments alleging racist police brutality, (Sim pointed out that he grew up in India and saw a horrific public beating when a child) and an honest and pointed response from Salt Lake County Party Chairman Chad Bennion, who referenced the DA’s bias from his foreigner background.

Immigration=Racisim. Those hard-hearted Republicans. Again.

The more the Right (those who want local, less, smaller government) makes a big deal of what the Left, (those who want bigger, more, centralized control) has purposefully transformed into a racist/ethnic faux pas (again), the more fuel the Right gives the Left.

And that’s precisely what the Left wants. They are on a pursuit of the great dialectic to force this nation incrementally to become a welfare state. Two steps forward, one step back, and eventually we’ll get there.

Well, my friends, we arethere.

Vladimir LeninIt was Lenin himself who penned the phrase “One Step Forward, Two Steps Back – The Crisis in Our Party” – in a pamphlet written in May 1904 addressing the split between the majority – the Bolsheviks – and the Mensheviks led by Julius Martov and the backwards motion of what was needed: incrementalism.

It was a play on the idiom derived from watching a frog try to escape from a well – for every two steps forward, it lapsed back one step, making the journey out of the well tiresome and tedious.

Julius MartovBy 1917 Lenin and Martov had finally united to force the successful worker’s revolution. Of course they were both socialists when they were bickering intra-party, but it is an example of the dialectic in action. (If you don’t understand “the dialectic” – Google it.)

Today, we see incrementalism at work on all fronts. Immigration comes to mind.

Incrementalism and Immigration
Inviting immigrants to the U.S. that have little historical background or history with the republican founding of our nation and that bring with them flawed ideas of governance has never had a good outcome for a free nation historically. Incrementally, immigration patterns change societies and political outcomes. If you’ve never seen it, here is a fascinating animated map of how immigration patterns affected religous blocs and the rise and fall of nations. I call it “Around the World in 90 Seconds.”

It can be logically argued that immigration patterns in the U.S. have already dramatically changed the dominant culture and its notions of the role of government. We can also acknowledge statistically that a welfare state has attracted many, and by bringing them in, has increased support for a welfare state. in fact with over 2.2 million on the government payroll, not including military and state public employees, it is reasonable to say that we have reached a tipping point of no easy return. Not good news for Republicans and the Right who believe less government is more liberty.

Thus, it can be said that the current immigration policy is destroying the republican form of government the Founders had envisioned – and it has nothing to do with skin color. They had the good sense to allow only a quota of foreigners (“aliens,” as they were and are still legally called) who might not bring with them the right ideas about liberty. By allowing a political bloc of socialists who would capture the majority, the nation could be transformed.

That we typically speak of this demographic or our form of government as an event yet to happen, in reality – if we are honest with ourselves – we must remove the blinders.

Friends, it has already happened. A majority of Americans are now welfare recipients. Will a majority vote to remove all these perks and welfare they now receive? Not likely.

But it’s not sustainable, and if allowed to continue, we may get a result we did not want.

Framing the Debate and Staying on the Offense

As a former candidate for US Senate/Congress, and watching those who have held and currently hold public office, a conservative politician’s voice is often neutered or silenced out of fear that the Left will make hay when truth is plainly spoken.

I’m no longer running for anything, and for that matter, I have nothing to lose, but even when running I was outspoken, sometimes to the horror of consultants. So I am continuing to speak boldly and bluntly. That is who I am and how I was raised.

Let’s analyze this situation with the County GOP Chairman and the Democratic County DA: A Republican leader is now concerned about the political lynching of a police officer that the Left has once again twisted into a racial incident. That is to be applauded. But, to continue the dialogue further only favors the dialectic and incrementalism will win – again.

My advice is to leave this narrowly focused debate alone now and to begin to turn and control the message – turn it into the message that we not only really need, but one that few acknowledge. If we do this in principle, what the Left wants will get its three days – or at most two weeks – of news coverage and then it’s gone.

If the Right is skillful enough to stay focused on the real issue, the foundational and fundamental causes, the Leftist twist will be all but forgotten and the correct message will emerge and dominate.

It’s the Left that wants the racial dialogue to go on and on, to incite class warfare. It’s right out of the Alinsky playbook.

Think of this old adage: “What if they gave a war and no one came?” ha.

So, let’s stay focused on what’s really killing this state and nation and begin to use the transitional phrase, “You know, the real issue here is ________”

And the real issue is? So glad you asked.

The real issue is the gorilla in the room: The corruption of crony capitalism and the merger of private-public partnerships that have little concern about the philosophies that the precious workers business owners need might bring to this country. These are the capitalist cannibals. They have already brought in, and are supporting educational philosophies, a generation that will use their false ideas of the role of government to be used against them. The very people they need, and the money they are throwing into educational programs to train them, regardless of political background and philosophy, are the very ones that will unionize and rise up against them – the very fathers of their feasts.

This is nothing new. It is the cyclical pattern of history. And they will overturn them.

The Danger of the Private-Public Partnership

If you look closely enough at the people, the strategic players, and the funding, you will see these insidious private-public alliances/collaborations lurking behind every issue we face. They are rendering local control and our influence at the voting booth impotent, they are equalizing the tax sources (redistribution), regionalizing and removing our representative form of government and turning it into a socialist, collectivist, consolidated, centralized, controlling superstate.

Even in Utah.

stalin-lenin-and-trotskyIt’s not a new idea, and the history does not have a good outcome. Crony capitalism and private-public partnerships are in part what incited and then co-opted the Bolshevik revolution, what supported Trotsky and eventually brought Stalin and Hitler to power in Europe. The same patterns emerged in Asia.

Follow the money. Always.

If you do, you will begin to see a powerful pattern of public policy merged with the private sector, forcing enterprises that refuse the public subsidy into unfair competition with the publicly subsidized sector. Who among you could compete with FREE?

My friends, THAT – the private-public partnership – is destroying the free market on all fronts – from education to health care. Both parties support it.

Can you identify what it looks like? Do you know its names and labels in education, in health care? Do you know what you might wholeheartedly be supporting without really understanding the consequences?

Any guesses what sacred cows I might be talking about? I’ll let you chew on that cud until my next post.

Action Items

My advice is: Let this little spittin’ match go. Focus on the real issue. Who will stand with me? I really need your help. It’s not going to come from those that have billions. If it comes from anywhere, it will be from the grassroots, you and me. Sheer sweat and a few dollars from a lot of folks.

Ask yourself the following questions: Who am I? What do I believe? How does money affect my beliefs? What do we as a people believe? And most of all, do we practice what we believe?

We are in a very dangerous time. I warned GOP leaders over 25 years ago what the outcome would be if we continued to collaborate with and compromise with the Left and abandon Roberts Rules for consensus. As we debate these ethnic, class warfare issues, this is not a good time for the Republican Party to be going through an identity crisis and believe that it must water down its message and cave in to peer pressure to become more democratic/Leftist just to get more votes.

That’s exactly what the Left wants. That’s incrementalism.

I applaud Senator Mike Lee (and the handful of the brave that stand beside him) for standing his ground.

What Will the Future Headlines Be for the GOP?

My good friend Ron Mortensen, a brilliant writer, has written a powerful piece capturing likely future news headlines if the GOP continues on this course. Read it.

After reading this short commentary, you will not view this discussion the same again. It will give new meaning to the advice: “Be careful what you wish for. You just might get it.”

The Truth About the Sequester – and Your State Legislature

An epidemic of Sequestermania is ravaging the land.  Two million federal employees and Americans everywhere are freaking out – over what? That there may be too many federal employees who show up day after day, and then when the project they were hired to do is done, they sit and wait. And wait. While we pay them to … wait.

How do I know this? Because I have friends who work in D.C. They’ve seen it.

Now, here’s the awful truth about the sequester, so brace yourselves: Continue reading The Truth About the Sequester – and Your State Legislature

Another Defining Moment

Orrin HatchMy blog site is dedicated to defining conservative. Senator Orrin Hatch, via the Deseret News, has just given me another defining moment.

In the article “Utah GOP May End Up Being Dominated By Radicals,” Utah’s senior senator is setting the stage for moving our election process from a caucus-convention to an open primary, playing on the fears of voters that the current system is controlled from within by “radicals” and “extremists.” Continue reading Another Defining Moment
